Tibia locking screws

Locking Screws
Locking screws are available in diameters of 4.5mm and 5mm, with various lengths. They aim to achieve mechanical fixation between the bone fracture and the nail, designed specifically to reduce the possibility of rotation.

Locking screws with a diameter of 4.5mm are used only in the distal locking holes of the 9mm diameter tibia intramedullary nail.
Locking screws with a diameter of 5mm are used in the proximal locking holes of the 9mm diameter tibia intramedullary nail.
