TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

  • Femoral Nails must be manufactured from Ti6Al4V material with ISO 5832-3, ASTM F136 standards.
  • Locking Screws must be manufactured from Titanium material in accordance with ISO 5832-3 and ASTM F136 standards.
  • There must be screws with a diameter of 5 mm and a length of 26 mm - 100 mm to lock the proximal and distal. The screw placed in the proximal of the nail must be 6.4 mm in diameter and between 65 mm - 115 mm.
  • The products manufactured by the manufacturer must have CE certification.
  • In order for the product surfaces to last long in the body, they must be colored by being subjected to oxidation with the Anodize method after polishing and processes and made passive against chemical corrosion.
  • There should be 2 static holes and 2 130 degree Recon. screw holes in the proximal femur. There should be 2 static holes in the distal.
  • The inclinations of the femoral nails should be suitable for the femoral bone anatomy. The nails should be fully anatomically cannulated and have right-left options.
  • The nails should have lengths (320 mm - 340 mm - 360 mm - 380 mm - 400 mm - 420 mm - 440 mm) and appropriate diameters (10 mm - 11.5 mm - 13 mm) to meet the requirements.
  • There should be dynamic holes on the femoral nails for both static and compression purposes.
  • The nail application set should include end caps (top screws).
  • The product dimensions, Lot number and CE mark should be laser-engraved on the nails.
  • The femoral nails should be able to perform distal locking without any problems thanks to the distal locking devices in the application set.
  • There should be special locking screwdrivers in the set to easily fit the end cups.
  • All 5 mm diameter screws should have a grooved self-tapping feature.
